I know that "compassion" comes from two Latin words
meaning
suffer + with
I do not just "give at the office."
I
am committed to being present with
those who are hurting.
Solidarity
I
invest whatever is necessary to heal the hurts of others.
I
give my time to be with the suffering.
Issues: the
Welfare System
And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His
purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be
conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the
firstborn among many brethren.
