God is Giving Me

Energy

Tapping into the infinite resources of the Creator of the Universe to accomplish His purposes.

1. Internal or inherent power; the power of operating, whether exerted or not; as, men possessing energies sometimes suffer them to lie inactive. Danger will rouse the dormant energies of our natures into action
2. Power exerted; vigorous operation; force; vigor. God, by his Almighty energy, called the universe into existence.
3. Effectual operation; efficacy; strength or force producing the effect.
Beg the blessed Jesus to give an energy to your imperfect prayers, by his most powerful intercession.

Smalridge.

4. Strength of expression; force of utterance; life; spirit; emphasis.
The language of Lord Chatham is remarkable for its energy.

Webster's, 1st ed., 1828

I do not wait for God's dangerous prodding to use my energies. I am continually alert for opportunities to employ my energy for God's Kingdom.

I possess an abundant supply of energy, because I am indwelled by the Spirit. I am free to drink deep from this well of Power; I can thereby overcome lethargy, exhaustion, and drowsiness.

The more energy I apply in obedience to God's Law, the more energy I will have to apply to the next task of obedience.

I start each task with enthusiasm and joy, and this reverent attitude is blessed by God with more joyous energy.

I work with inSpiration, and my enthusiasm allows the Spirit to energize me.

I am dynamic.

I am becoming more and more energetic.

My parents wanted me to be hard-working, and my industrious life is an honor to their desires.

My friends know me to be peppy.

My family sees me becoming more and more vigorous.

My parents are proud of my hale and hardy attitude toward life.

My animated habits are an asset to my community.

Those I work with are delighted that I am becoming more and more cheerful.

I am not afraid to be passionate among the don't-rock-the-boat vegetables in a lifeless culture of mediocrity.

My sprightly approach to the assignments God gives me pleases God.

I bring verve and sparkle to every project I undertake.

I approach my tasks with spunk.

I am committed to becoming more and more vibrant.

People around me can depend on me to be an effervescent source of encouragement.

The Spirit empowers me to be full of vim and vigor.

I often think about how I can be more spirited.

I appreciate a lively esprit de corps.

My spirit reverberates with drive and vitality.

My conscience knows the value of pressing on.

I have a natural affinity with enthusiasm.

I am at home with hustle and bustle.

Being robust and energetic is a real passion with me.

These words resonate in my being; God's Law develops them in my life.

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
-- Ephesians 1:11-12

I will meditate in Thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in Thy statutes: I will not forget Thy Word.
-- Psalm 119:15

This isn't that New Age "Positive Thinking" stuff, is it??
