I have nearly equal credentials in marketing performance and creative achievement. I can write a 65-page marketing plan and get every number right. Or I can take an existing plan and write the TV commercial that will pull products off the shelves.

I believe I am the only person ever to have been honored with both the Clio Award for outstanding advertising creativity and the Public Relations Society of America's Silver Anvil Award for outstanding corporate public relations.

I wrote the marketing plan that gave Qantas Airways a 47% revenue increase in one year and averaged 22% per year for five years. I also wrote the strategic creative campaign that doubled Nexxus Hair Products distribution and generated a $100 million retail sales increase in two years.

I am also a bottom-line manager. I rescued the Los Angeles office of a major advertising agency from closure, turning a $1.4 million loss to profit in two years by cutting costs, increasing billings and winning new accounts with a junior staff.
