Looking for a
Mentor

Hi Lou,

Thanks for giving me 30 minutes of your time. Take the time needed to read this webpage out of that 30 minutes.

I have a "life coaching" program I want to start. It's not like any other coaching program. I'm out to "impose" my views on my clients.

I've been looking for a marketing coach and a coaching coach for years. I've been looking for someone who:

(1) is knowledgeable
(2) is a good teacher
(3) wants me to succeed

I can tell by your sessions in Eben Pagan's IGNITION program that you meet (1) and (2) hands down. Plus, I've listened closely to your "Mistakes Entrepreneurs Make" telecast. I anticipate great things.

As for (3), if I were a Nazi with the goal of turning America into the Fourth Reich, you would not want to be the coach that coached me to success in my goal.

I am the extreme opposite of a Nazi, but some people don't like extremes, and you may not want me to succeed in my goal.

How's that for negative thinking! I'm a long-term optimist but a short-term pessimist. Sometimes I feel like the only way I can get a client into my program is to "double-dog dare you." (We'll get to an example below.)

Here's what I've been looking for in a coach (or maybe "dreaming about' is more accurate).

I am one weekend away from having a website ready to launch. I have a list of targeted leads. All I need to do is put the finishing touches on the website, draft an email to send to the list, and I am 100% confident I can have at least a handful of people sign up for my program and pay at least $100/mo.

Thus far, I have been paralyzed with some fears that keep me from launching. Mainly the fear of starting a "for-profit" business on my own.

I think that if a knowledgeable marketing guru were to tell me to "Launch!" after looking at my website, telling me the 4, 8, or 12 things I need to do to get it ready to launch, and signing off on the email, I would have the confidence to launch. Then I can pay for the next year's worth of coaching with the fees from those who sign up.

Personal Assets:

  • I've been writing on the web since 1997. I have around 3,000 webpages and blog posts. I haven't learned anything significant in the IGNITION program thus far, and I'm thinking of dropping out. (The $1 offer was enticing, but $95/mo is not easy for me.)
  • I have a list of targeted leads consisting of people who have written me over the years expressing their agreement with or interest in my writings.
  • Two years ago a supporter bought my web hosting, domain registration, and AWeber for three years. I've disappointed that supporter by not having launched yet.
  • I'm debt free.

Personal Liabilities:

  • I've never made a dime on the internet. In fact, since graduating from college, I've never made a dime.
  • I have no real business experience or "real-world" sense.
  • I am also dirt poor. No savings, no income. Details here (no whiney excuses).

Details

  • I studied law with some attorneys and a judge and passed the California Bar Exam but was denied a license to practice law because I am a Christian whose allegiance to God is greater than my allegiance to the government.
  • I rented a 12-room house and provided shelter and counseling for an average of 19 homeless people who lived in my home 24/7 for the better part of a decade (over one thousand individuals). I didn't call myself a "coach" at the time, but that's pretty much what I was.
  • I have also used my legal knowledge to form other non-profit organizations which have helped the poor. Here is one.
  • I have been the Libertarian Party nominee for U.S. Congress four times in California and Missouri. Campaign website.
  • I don't need money right now. I would like to get a business going so that I'm ready when I do need money. I left the homeless "biz" to care for my mother in Missouri, a widow who emerged from a trip to the hospital with half her physical strength and half her memory and mental alertness. She and I live on her teacher's pension and an annuity left by my father, both of which will evaporate upon her death. I have contacts in California who are respectfully nagging me to return, and will provide me with another house to open up for the homeless, should I choose to do so. That would take care of my room and board, but I'd rather stay in Missouri and pursue my coaching vision. And maybe even make some money.

Looking Forward

  • I have created a non-profit organization that America's Founding Fathers would applaud.
  • I need a business coach and/or internet marketing mentor to help me run this organization in the black.
  • I am a hard worker with high ambitions and a unique background.

A Coaching Relationship?

I'm looking for an internet marketing guru who is willing to donate the information I need to raise enough money to pay for more coaching.

I think all you need to do is look over my website and the email to announce it, and I can do the rest. Your expert approval is all the encouragement I need. Then I can hire you for extended coaching.

Review my website and the email to announce it to my list. Tell me what I need to do to not embarrass myself. That's it.

Preview of Coming Attractions

I mentioned that I'm a long-term optimist and a short-term pessimist who sometimes feels the only way to get a client is a "double-dog dare." Here is an example of that kind of thinking. It coldly describes my "coaching" program. I have registered dozens of domains to package this same program in ways that are more attractive and positive to slightly different markets. Here is an example of something a little more positive. With just a little encouragement, I can write one that's more positive, marketable, and attractive. I sort of know my limitations, but need an expert to push me.

Why I will not use my personal credit

I don't have the money to buy a $5,000 coaching course. I have good credit, but I only use my credit cards if I have already raised the money to pay the bill at the end of the month. I've been told by some prospective coaches that it makes good business sense to use "Other People's Money." In today's economy, other people don't have any money. Using credit means creating money out of thin air, which I believe is an act of theft. I've explained my opposition to "OPM" here.

Can you Trust Me?

Will I pay you for what you help me accomplish, and for the knowledge you will give me to accomplish more? Start here to learn about my character. Since I graduated from college I have dedicated my life to social services pro bono publico ("for the good of the public," without compensation or remuneration). I have sacrificed hundreds of thousands of dollars in potential income. If you can teach me how to make money, I'm happy to pay you for those skills. I'm not here to rip you off. Like I said, I don't need the money right now.

I'll launch with your paypal button on the website if you like.

Thanks for reading this.

Liberty Under God
is what made America the greatest nation in human history.
For decades there has been a conspiracy to destroy it.
Now you can join a conspiracy to preserve it.

If you are not an extremist in defense of "Liberty Under God," you're an enemy of "Liberty Under God."

Here are the key issues in the debate over abolishing "the government."

1. Capitalism and Pacifism
Can you define "capitalism?" Most people think America is a "capitalist" nation, but that is no longer the case. "Capitalism" is persuasion rather than coercion. It means refusing to initiate force or violence against another in order to get your way. Understanding "capitalism" in this way changes everything.
2. Capitalism and Theocracy
People today generally have a negative reaction to the words "pacifism" and "theocracy." Both of those words lead to "capitalism" and a peaceful, prosperous, and orderly society.
Now you're ready for the links below.

Here is where more detailed study begins:

"Liberty"

"Under God"

The Big Lie (32)

A Nation "Under God" (10)

Vine & Fig Tree: A World Without "The State" (169)

"Theo+cracy" means "Under God" (28)

95 Theses Against the State (123)

America: The History of a Theocracy (147)

The 6 pages above contain links to over 300 more pages which should help convince you of the value of "Liberty Under God" and the feasibility of attaining it before the 22nd century (just one lifetime away).

Happy Reading!
