I do not "support our troops." I respect them for being in much better physical shape than I'm in. I can learn from their example of self-sacrifice and willingness to endure hardship -- I should be willing to work as hard as they do in the pursuit of my own goals. But the troops in the Middle East (and the politicians who sent them there) have killed thousands of innocent men women and children, replaced Saddam's secular government with an Islamic theocracy, displaced the largest Christian minority in the Mideast, cost my nation a trillion dollars, and are destroying my Constitutional liberties. They weren't drafted. Why are they there? Why do some go back for more? I don't "support" them. I wish the dead, the injured, the traumatized, and those still deployed, were all back home, unharmed and with their families for Christmas.
