Risks



Voters must:
  • "waste" their vote
  • risk their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor

Too many voters don't want to "waste their vote" by voting for a candidate who won't win, even if that candidate stands more firmly for the voter's issues than the "winning" candidate.

If you can't even cast a secret ballot for the candidate that stands firmly for good, how can you take greater risks the rest of the year?

The mark of a real American and a real Patriot is the willingness to take great risks. The Declaration of Independence reminds us that America's Founding Fathers were willing to risk a great deal for "Liberty Under God."

We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

 

 

 

         

 

 

  • To risk your "Life" is to risk your time.
  • To risk your "Fortune" is to risk your money.
  • To risk your "sacred Honor" is (among other things) to be willing to be mocked by your neighbors for supporting a candidate "who can't possibly win." Just like America's Founders supported a revolution against the most powerful empire on earth; a revolution that "couldn't possibly succeed."
