Abortion Issues back to top
  L - Pro-life a) Do you consider yourself pro-choice or pro-life?
N b) Should abortion be legal only within the first trimester of pregnancy?
N c) Should abortion be legal when the pregnancy resulted from incest or rape?
N d) Should abortion be legal when the life of the woman is endangered?
Y e) Should federal subsidies be prohibited from being used for abortion procedures?
  f) Other or expanded principles
I believe in the personhood of the unborn -- that the unborn is a "person" within the meaning of the law. I believe the intentional killing of an innocent person is murder. I do not believe in capital punishment. Abortion is not a federal issue, therefore abortion should be "legal" in the sense that the federal government should not impose criminal sanctions on the mother. Consumers should boycott doctors who kill human beings even if state and local governments do not punish abortion. http://KevinCraig.us/abortion.htm

I believe the Bible commands us to "beat swords into plowshares."
http://KevinCraig.us/swords.htm
The amount of defense spending plus unconstitutional spending is approximately $2 trillion. There are 6 billion people on the planet. Stop dropping bombs and give every man woman and child on earth $333/yr., and who would have an incentive to attack the U.S.? Maybe a handful of crazy jihadists, but they weren't stopped by a trillion-dollar defense budget on 9/11 anyway.

There is no ethical distinction between taxation, extortion, or any other form of theft. I pay taxes because the government threatens to lock me in a federal prison with a psychopath who will sodomize me, even though I know the money will be wasted, or used for harmful and immoral purposes. All government programs should be paid for voluntarily through user fees by those who use the programs.
