cheapen sex by separating it from permanent, committed love
I will not bring disgrace on the office of Congressman, as
disgrace has recently been brought upon the office of the President.

I am committed to chastity in body, mind, affections, words, and
behavior; and the preservation of it in myself and others;
I maintain constant watchfulness over my eyes and all my senses;
My commitment to temperance shields me from many sexual
temptations;
I keep chaste company;
I demonstrate modesty in apparel, by refusing to wear clothes
which send signals to others that I am willing to separate sex from
committed, marital love;
My commitment to diligent labor in my calling creates
self-discipline and shields me from the sexual temptations common to
the idle and lazy;
I shun all occasions of uncleanness, and resist temptations
thereunto.
I have made a covenant with my eyes; Why
then should I look upon a young woman?
Job 31:1
As soon as I catch myself imagining an unlawful scenario, I
immediately put that thought to death. I do not linger around
lustful thoughts which would be sinful in reality.
I keep God's Law close to my heart and on my mind, through daily
meditation on His statutes, including His commands against adultery,
fornication, rape, incest, sodomy, and all unnatural lusts; all
unclean imaginations, thoughts, purposes, and affections; all
corrupt or filthy communications, or listening thereunto; wanton
looks, impudent or light behavior, immodest apparel; prohibiting of
lawful, and dispensing with unlawful marriages; allowing,
tolerating, keeping of stews, and resorting to them; entangling vows
of single life, undue delay of marriage; having more wives or
husbands than one at the same time; unjust divorce, or desertion;
idleness, gluttony, drunkenness, unchaste company; lascivious songs,
books, pictures, dancings, stage plays; and all other provocations
to, or acts of uncleanness, either in ourselves or others.
And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His
purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be
conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn
among many brethren.
-- Romans 8:28-29
I have remembered Thy Name, O LORD, in the night, and have
kept Thy Law.
-- Psalm 119:55
