A firm belief in the integrity, stability and truthfulness of
God, and an assurance of mind in the exercise of Godly dominion.
He had confidence in the LORD God of
Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings
of Judah, nor any that were before him.
2 Kings 18:5
Psalm 118:8-9 It is better to
trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.
{9} It is better to
trust in the LORD than to put confidence in politicians.
I have confidence.
I can go wherever God calls me; I can do whatever He commands
me; He rewards those who diligently seek Him.
The entire universe and all who inhabit it were created by God.
The whole universe and every
atom within it is effortlessly held together by God.
This same God sent His only Son to make me righteous. He
has predestined all things to work together for my good.
A glorious purpose for all things has already been
predetermined by this omnipotent, loving God, and is absolutely
unstoppable.
Yes, I have confidence.
I am committed to becoming more and more secure.
People around me can depend on me to be reassuring.
The Spirit empowers me to be faithful.
I often think about how I can be more trusting.
I appreciate assuredness.
My spirit reverberates with conviction.
Being positive is a real passion with me.
These words resonate in my being; I am the child of the King:
- assuredness
- conviction
- faith
- fortitude
- positiveness
- reassurance
- reliance
- security
- sureness
- trust
And we know that all things work together for good to those
who love God, to those who are the called according to His
purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be
conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn
among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He
also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He
justified, these He also glorified.
-- Romans 8:28-30
My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I
have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
-- Psalms 119:48
