IS THE ANSWER TO
Questions About Immigration

Here are some questions that many people are asking about immigration:

1. Do you support a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants?

2. Do you support decreasing the number of legal immigrants allowed into the country?

3. Do you support establishing English as the official national language?

4. Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?

5. Do you believe in overturning the Constitutional right to birthright citizenship?

6. What do you think of Arizona's controversial immigration law?

7. Branson economist Tim Davis, who lost the Democratic bid for 7th District, proposed the idea of actively recruiting immigrants skilled in business, engineering, technology and possibly health care fields on temporary work visas. He proposes that these workers be recruited to come here with the caveat that they would pay into social security, but they would have to return to their countries, they would not be allowed to become citizens, and they could never collect Social Security. This, he says, could save social security by bringing an influx of workers who pay into the system but cannot take from the system What do you think of that idea?
