National Committee
The Libertarian National Committee (LNC) is the governing body of the
Libertarian Party at the national level when a national convention
is not in session.
Membership
The LNC has 18 members:
four officers elected by the convention
- Chair
- Vice-Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
five members elected at-large by the convention
nine representatives selected by geographic regions

Functions
The LNC is effectively the "board of directors" of the Libertarian Party.
Its functions include: establishing an organizational structure to
carry out the work of the party, approving the national LP budget,
giving advice and consent on appointments made by the Chair,
and adopting a Program and
resolutions on current issues (within the framework set forth
by the convention in the Platform).

The LNC normally meets three or four times per year. For information
